Filetypes in Oxygen

Hi everybody, I am starting to use oXygen (20.1) with eXist-db (5.0RC4). I set up the datasource and can read and write to the database. When writing a new XQuery file, oXygen suggests .xquery as the file type extension and works fine with it. However, I am used to use .xq and .xqm for XQuery files. However, when I want to save such a file, oXygen refuses to save and shows the following errors: Cannot save the file: API error: Failed to invoke method uploadCompressed in class org.exist.xmlrpc.RpcConnection: Not in GZIP format This puzzles me and makes me think that somehow oXygen does not know about these file types, although they are indeed listed in Preferences->Filetype and associated with XQuery. Does anybody know what is going wrong here? Any help appreciated, Christian

Author view: Hide DITA ditamap data about attribute

In my DITA topic I have the following: <map xml:lang="en-us" linking="none"> <title>Title</title> <topicmeta> <shortdesc>shortdesc</shortdesc> <data-about> <data name="icon_url" href="http://<some_path>"/> In author view, by default, I see a form field for the name. I'd like to override that using CSS. I figured out how to do map > topicmeta > data-about > data[name="icon_url"]:after { content: "Pick a local icon or a remote URL for the icon:" oxy_urlChooser( edit, "@href", columns 50); } which allows me to show a picker for an attribute I do want to display, but, I still see the form field for the name attribute. Which words does “Document: Count Words” count?

Hello all, Which words does “Document: Count Words” count? I would certainly hope it doesn't count the XML markup. Beyond that, we are using Track Changes with author mode, and we would like not to count deleted text that is still present (i.e., as a change to be reviewed). Does this menu item count that or not? Thank you so much Bernhard. Did you use JebRef's Medline XML format for export? You then turned that XML into a valid DITA document for the bibliography by manually editing it? Is there a hyperlink or other programmatic connection between an inline citation within a chapter and the corresponding entry at the end of the chapter? Or is the connection regular text (e.g. same last name & year) ? -da'ud

Is there a best practice for working with inline citations, reference footnotes, and/or bibliographies in Oxygen while writing DITA documents? I'm familiar with Mendeley, Endnote, and Zotero, which link to MS Word.

oXygen Web Author - problem accesing GitLab on premise

Hi, I'm struggling to configure oXygen Web Author to access files from GitLab (on-premise). Everything should be configured properly, I can autenticate to GitLab from Web Author and can list available repositories. But once I want to access repository -- i.e. browse it for files or create new file I'm getting the following error message: Failed to open repository: https://gitlab.example.com/foo/bar (I have obfuscated actual URL to repository). On a closer inspection in Developer tools it seems that Web Author tries to access: https://gitlab.example.com/api/v4/projects/foo%2Fbar GitLab returns 404 for such URL. I have skimmed over GitLab documentation and it seems that proper URL syntax should be https://gitlab.example.com/api/v4/projects/$id$ where $id$ is project identifier that can be obtained by accessing projects metadata at https://gitlab.example.com/api/v4/projects/ I'm not sure if this problem in oXygen Web Author of perhaps using some older API or whether there is something that I have to change in GitLab configuration. Anyone noticed this problem and found solution?
