Configuration of profiling attributes and their values

Hi, would it be possible to move configuration of profiling attributes and their values into document type? I often create customized version of DocBook for my customer and part of this customization are also preconfigured values for profiling in schema. Schema and other necessary files are distributed as an oXygen framework so it makes sense to configure profiling attributes here then as a global/project options. Hi, Problably I didn't see it, but there is no way for me to select a bunch of XML file and add them to generate a schema The only way is too select the file one by one which is tedious Any idea of how to circumvent that ? Xmlizer

No Framework for NLM?

Table rules for empty cells

Is there a simple way to force a table to actually generate rules around all cells when generating html from docbook? <table rules="all"> is not doing it. Right now, I'm having to insert non-breaking spaces to force empty cells to get rules, which means I have a lot of lines like this: <td> </td> in a sparse table. This is okay - easily generated with global replace - but a but of a nuisance. PDFs generated from the same source are ruled correctly, but the HTML is not, unless the &nbsp is inserted. Or, for a workaround, is it possible to add a non-breaking space to the "insert from character map" options in a future version? (speaking of the character map, it would be really nice if the non-printing characters were labelled - I can usually remember that U+000D is a CR, but the others I have to look up) Cheers, -Jon Kiparsky

It should be possible to specify Saxon configuration file for validation scenario

Hi, I have complex set of stylesheets which use custom Saxon extension. I can validate main stylesheet as I can specify Saxon configuration file (-config) which defines extension. However when I'm editing imported stylesheet and I specify custom validation scenario I can't specify Saxon configuration file here (I can choose only XSLT processor and extensions) and extension is thus not loaded and I got validation error on each use of extension function or instruction. Would it be possible to fix this omission? Folding in Author mode

Dear List, Is there a way to specify that a foldable element specified in the Author CSS should be folded when the document opens? Similarly, is there a way to close all foldable elements in a document in Author mode? Thanks, Steven

Saving a document in EMC's xDB

Hi, I have configured a Data Source for xDB (from EMC, version 10.0.0) and added the following 4 JARs from the xDB lib/ dir, as stated in the oXygen documentation: xhive.jar antlr-runtime.jar icu4j.jar google-collect.jar I created a new connection and I can browse the xDB libaries and open XML documents. If I modify a document and try to save it, I receive an error dialog box saying: "DTD factory class org.apache.xerces.impl.dv.dtd.DTDDVFactoryImpl does not extend from DTDDVFactory." Nice Performance from Find/Replace Across 34, 000 Files

I just had cause to do a global search and replace across about 34,000 files. On my Mac (beefy MacBookPro) it took about 30 seconds max to make the changes, which seems pretty fast to me. Was expecting it to take a good bit longer. Content completion and restricted IDs

If I have an id attribute that is of type my_type, and my_type is an xs:simpleType restriction of xs:ID and a "xxx_[0-9_]+" pattern, should I expect to see content completion work? I have it turned on, but it doesn't seem to know what to offer as completions. It would be nice to see a list of all id values of type my_type. Michael
