Buna,
I'm using the <literallayout> element for a DocBook document.
When I work, I use the "indent the document" button before saving a file.
Unfortunately this function also indents what's inside the
<literallayout> element.
Would it be feasible to modify the "indent the document" function so that
it takes into account the <literallayout> element (and other "verbatim"
elements) ?
I'm using oXygen 2.0.4

Hi,
In case you want to give oXygen 3.0 a try please find below information about where to get it from and how to set up the license.
All platforms
http://www.oxygenxml.com/george/test/oxygenAll.tar.gz
Mac OS X
http://www.oxygenxml.com/george/test/oxygenMacOSX.tar.gz
Please paste the following lines when it asks for license:
Registration_Name=test
Company=test
Category=Professional
Component=XML-Editor
Version=3
Number_of_Licenses=1
Date=12-17-2003
Duration=31
SGN=MCwCFDsIXtvszkP6aLgUKvuCD6VGiWlwAhRBuLUnz13DBsXkId2leCk/ke2h0g\=\=
Some noticeable things are:
- Tree based outliner that presents a tree automatically synchronized with the text content of the edited file.
- Global transformation scenarios allowing to define a scenario once and use it for different documents.
- Bookmark support
- Experimental XInclude support based on Xerces 2.6.0.
- NRL schemas editing and validation support and validate documents against NRL schemas (see http://www.thaiopensource.com/relaxng/nrl.html for more details about NRL).
- The remote access over FTP, HTTP WebDAV was tested against a lot of servers and support for HTTPS WebDAV was added.
- GUI improvements and bug fixes of the Tree Editor.
- Redesign all the application icons.
The 3.0 release is planned for the beginning of 2004.
Please let us know if you find any problems.
All the best,
George
> Buna / Bonjour / Hello,
Shalom, Sawubona, Sylvain,
I had that same problem once or twice, but always
found it difficult to
replicate.
Even though I had the Tag Insight -> Default set to
the Docbook DTD there
were times when insight did not seem to parse the DTD
and display the
elements as they should be. When I used to save the
document and close it
and re-open the problem was somehow resolved.
Sometimes it was my own fault, as I had induced an
error such as not closing
an itemizedlist or inserting one to many closing tags.
Since version 3.0 I have not found this problem again.
Only once very early
in the development of V3. when it would learn the
document. I mentioned it
to Dan but he could not replicate the problem. He did
make a suggestion, but
as I was not able to replicate the problem I was not
able to apply it.
I have tried replicating your document here, but code
insight works as
required.
Glad it's not only me that saw this behavior. I was
beginning to think it
was me, seeing things again.

OK. People like me don't use the Stylesheets bundled
with Oxygen. We tend
to move with the SF CVS. Can you post the patch, so
that we can circumvent
this problem should we need to use article inside
book.

Buna / Bonjour / Hello,
I'm currently producing a document with docbook and faced a strange
behaviour of oXygen this morning.
(I'm working with a project file, with docbook.dtd as default DTD for
Code Insight)
I created a new file with the following structure :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<sect1>
<sect1info>
<authorgroup>
<author>
<firstname>xx</firstname>
<surname>xx</surname>
<affiliation>xx</affiliation>
</author>
<author>
<firstname>xx</firstname>
<surname>xx</surname>
<affiliation>xx</affiliation>
</author>
</authorgroup>
<copyright>
<year>xxxx</year>
</copyright>
</sect1info>
<title>xx <ulink url="xx"/>
</title>
and then wanted to create a paragraph <para> here.
But Code Insight didn't had <para> in its suggestion list.
I nevertheless inserted my <para>xx</para>, and then wanted to insert an
image. So I typed "<media" but Code Insight only suggested me
<medialabel> and <mediaobject> was not available in the list.
I wrote the following structure :
<mediaobject>
<imageobject>
<imagedata align="xx" fileref="xx" format="xx"/>
</imageobject>
</mediaobject>
and closed my file with
</sect1>
I was able to produce the manual as a PDF file but I don't understand why
Code Insight didn't work on this file while there was no problem on other
files (the other files didn't have the <sect1info> element)
My configuration : oXygen 2.0.4 on Mac OS 10.3.1 using Apple's Java 1.4.1

Hi,
Is there any benefit to using JAI instead of JIMI?
What is the instruction for installing JAI so that
Oxygen can use it during FO transforms?

Hi Marius,
I saw this in the forum after I posted my message. Did
FOP 0.20.5 work?
If it did then all I need to do is figure out how to
install it as an extern
fo processor. I still have to try that procedure out
for myself. Perhaps
once I know how it works, then I will write a HOW-TO.

Hi,
How do I get docbook xml with svg images to transform?
Oxy by default has batik.jar and FOP 0.20.4. Is there
something I should do to make it work?
