Hi, As I have read on previous posts, oXygen classifies mixed content based on the current contents of an element, is this correct? If so, is it possible for oXygen to classify elements based on the declarations made in the DTD or Schema it is associated to? I know that the work around for this is to specify the pattern of elements that you want to preserve the whitespace in the preferences or to manually insert an xml:space="preserve" attributes for these elements, but if an XML is associated with a DTD or a Schema then you can tell whether whitespace in that element is ignorable or not. Currently what I've been doing is for every project I have to specify in the pattern listing all the mixed content elements that are defined in the DTD/Schema so that when I do a pretty print the whitespace is preserved and this method is very troublesome. Is there anymore workaround for this other than the ones I mentioned above? Or can this be considered as an added feature for a future version of the product? Thanks, Jeff

Feature Request for Content Completion with East Asian Text

Hi there, We are using oXygen mainly to edit Chinese or Japanese text. In this case, words are not separated by whitespace. For a project we are having here, I am setting up snippets that should be inserted using code completion. However, Code Completion fires only after a whitespace character, so we have to input a spurious whitespace character to kick this off, which then has to be deleted again at some point. Hence my feature request: When doing a Code Completion, look at the character before the insertion point and fire if either there is a whitespace, or a character in the Unicode ranges for East Asian characters. This should be fairly easy to implement and have no negative impact on the current functionality. Hi David, We'll probably have this fix available by Oxygen 9.3 (couple of days). When the fix will be available all you will have to do will be to add your catalog to the Oxygen catalogs list and the DITA Maps Manager topic references will be solved through the catalog. Mac: oXygen 9.2 + Java SE6 = key up/down problems

Hello. I'm running oXygen 9.2 on Mac OS X Leopard and recently updated to use Java SE 6 to get spaces working properly. However, I got another strange error that appears to be related to oXygen (but it might still be java.. can't tell). If I run oXygen with Java 6, the up and down keys will not move the cursor, but instead move the scrollbar. The arrows left / right works as supposed, and selecting text with shift + up/down also works as normal. I do not get this behavior in other Java applications so I suspect it to be oXygen related. Add to Project

Hi, It would be most handy if I could drag a document tab and drop it in the Project pane to add it to the project. I know I can right-click and choose "Add to project" but the drag & drop choice just feels right. request: code templates for XSLT 2.0

Hello, I use the code templates feature a lot when creating XSLT stylesheets. But now as I move more into XSLT 2.0, I notice the absence of code templates for the new elements. E.g. fegs: <xsl:for-each-group select="${caret}"> </xsl:for-each-group> rdh: <xsl:result-document href="${caret}"> </xsl:result-document> cg: current-group() and others. Any plans to add these? I will add some of my own for now, but I would welcome a full set that came with Oxygen. (I'm running Oxygen 9.3 standalone on Windows.) Regards, Lars

Problem validating XQuery documents

Hello, I'm modifying an XQuery document under 9.3 and am not getting validation as I type. I tried manually running validation and got an error that says "The transformer Saxon9B XQuery is not available anymore. Please reconfigure the transformation scenario." I created a custom validation scenario with the "<default engine>" and go the same error. When I changed that validation scenario to specifically use "Saxon-B XQuery 9.0.0.6", it worked. Seems like there may be a bug in the default setup. . John
