Hi, Problably I didn't see it, but there is no way for me to select a bunch of XML file and add them to generate a schema The only way is too select the file one by one which is tedious Any idea of how to circumvent that ? Xmlizer

Embedding fonts in Oxygen for FOP

I am trying to embed a font containing Czech glyphs. Following Oxygen's instructions to embed a font in FOP for pdf output: On my Windows Vista system, with Apache FOP 0.95 and Oxygen 10.1, when I run ttfConvert.bat (see below), I get the error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/fop/fonts/apps/TTFReader Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.fop.fonts.apps.TTFReader. When I look in that directory, there is an html file with that name, but no Java file. I do note at the head of the Oxygen document, it says for the built in FOP, but there is no org.apache... sub directory under oxygen Can you help? Editor validation using MarkLogic

I'm trying to debug some XQuery code against a MarkLogic server. The debugging is working fine, but the editor red-highlights code that uses any ML extensions or functions. The error starts with : F [Saxon-HE XQuery 9.2.0.3] XQuery syntax error in #. ... So I know its using Saxon to do the editor validation. View Stack for Trackback of XSLT ?

Is there a mode in Oxygen where I can view the Stack during a trackback ? (is that the right word ?) I run an XSLT in Debug mode, and highlight part of the output. It correctly highlights the source XML and the XSLT line where that part was output. But what I'd like to see is the call stack at that point of the output. I can see the "Trace" window but that doesnt seem to be syncing with the trackback, and also doesnt show the stack. The stack view is empty. Any suggestions ? Saxon configurations

Hi, Among the recent changes in Saxon 9.2, the way it sets up support for numbering in languages other than English has changed. It comes with classes for German, French, Danish, Dutch and some others, but none of these work without being configured. The configuration is done by providing Saxon at runtime with a configuration file, or by modifying a class. Maybe oXygen hasn't caught up yet with these changes in Saxon, or maybe I don't know where to look, but I can't see where I can create or modify such a configuration file for Saxon in oXygen. Any ideas? MarkLogic help 'ERROR: 'Please specify an WebDAV URL in the MarkLogic connection"'

I'm trying to setup a MarkLogic connection in Oxygen 11.0 I had this working a few months ago but I've moved the server and trying to start from scratch. I can setup a "WebDav" Database connection no problem, it works great (in Oxygen and Windows explorer) But when I try to setup a MarkLogic connection to the same server/port I get this error MarkLogic help 'ERROR: 'Please specify an WebDAV URL in the MarkLogic connection"' My settings in the MarkLogic connection are as follows Name: ML_Modules_Clinical Data Source: (grayed) MarkLogic XDBC Host: 192.168.1.10 Port: 8011 User: user Password: ***** WebDav URL: http://192.168.1.10:8020 I've checked and checked and triple checked and all the ports, users and hosts are correct but Oxygen refuses to notice I've set a URL in the WebDAV URL field. Preferences not transferred to new version

When I upgraded from version 10 to version 11.0, and today when I upgraded to version 11.1, while some of my preferences were transferred, one set was not. In Options | Preferences | Editor |Format | XML, in the "preserve space elements" dropdown, the four elements I had added were not carried forward. As was said above, they have failed to carry forward for each of my several past upgrades (9.x to 11.1). Regards, Mark Wilson

Indentation, and diffing

Hi, I've just installed the brand-new 11.1. Congrats! Just a couple of questions/remarks. The announce says "Visual Editing of the XSLT Documentation". How can I use it? I sometimes, in quite specific cases, do align attributes and namespace declarations of an element each on its own line, the first one after the element name then other at the same position as the first one: <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xd="http://www.oxygenxml.com/ns/doc/xsl" xmlns:http="http://www.expath.org/mod/http-client" xmlns:ser="http://www.fgeorges.org/xslt/serial" exclude-result-prefixes="#all" version="2.0"> I've never used Cmd-P on stylesheets, but with the new documentation system, I do, as my stylesheets do contain text elements now. And those attributes are realigned like this: <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xd="http://www.oxygenxml.com/ns/doc/xsl" xmlns:http="http://www.expath.org/mod/http-client" xmlns:ser="http://www.fgeorges.org/xslt/serial" exclude-result-prefixes="#all" version="2.0"> Is it possible to tell oXygen to not indent attributes aligned on their element's name? Another strange behaviour is reformatting the following: <xsl:sequence select=" if ( exists($relative) ) then resolve-uri($relative, $base) else $base"/> as: <xsl:sequence select=" if ( exists($relative) ) then resolve-uri($relative, $base) else $base "/> And if I copy and paste the former, I get the following: <xsl:sequence select=" if ( exists($relative) ) then resolve-uri($relative, $base) else $base"/> Lines are re-indented (with 3 spaces instead of 4) and all on the same column. This is quite perturbing to have the usual paste to format the pasted content. And last but not least, I often align attributes of different elements, on subsecutive lignes, on the same columns: <xsl:variable name="one" select="..."/> <xsl:variable name="thirteen" select="..."/> <xsl:variable name="two" select="..."/> But after Cmd-P, all attributes are separated by one single space (when they stay on the same line). Is there a way to disable changing the spaces between attributes? Oh yes... And I like the standalone diff application! When diffing two XML files, is it possible to save a third file, with diffs annotated? To get something like the XMLSpec diff version? I know diffing XML is a hard problem, because of the numerous ways of defining what's a difference, what's an addition, what's a modification, etc. But that would be very helpful as a first draft, even if we had to fine-tune the file by hand in a second time.
