I recently spent considerable time trying to figure out how to globally change the default view mode from Author to Editor in v.11.1, and was unsuccessful. Memory tells me that this change was possible in previous versions. Such as setting would eliminate hundreds of clicks to manually switch the mode. Thank you. Weird-looking images in PDF when using Oxygen 10.x + DITA OT 1.x

I'm using Oxygen 10.x + DITA OT 1.x The PDFs compile just fine, but when I print them,the little "hand" icons used for the notes appears as a jumbled mess. All other GIFs are mangled, too. Is this a feature of the OT/PDF creation? Or is this something I can "tune" or fix in Oxygen 10 or the OT?

I agree w/ Gabby completely. When I want to look, or want my students to look, at TEI through CSS-colored glasses, I use a browser. When I use oXygen, I want (or want my studnets to) see pointy brackets. JAXP not present

Hi there, Everytime when I open a XSLT file in Oxygen, I get the following message at the bottom: E[JAXP] The transformer JAXP is not present. Please install it ... I have no idea what this refers to, but I have seen it for a while. Customizing XSD Documentation Output (PDF & HTML)

Hi, I've been investigating the schema documentation tools in v11 for a client and am quite impressed with the output. The client has asked how to go about customizing the PDF and HTML output to add a company logo & other branding, etc. Are there instructions available anywhere on how to achieve this, or can anyone outline the process for me? Is there a way to stop oxygen from reformatting lines of text marked with <codeblock> or <lines>?

I am writing documentation that includes code samples. I currently am putting them in the concept type marked with <codeblock> or <lines> (I've not decided yet which is the best solution). But, if I reformat the text (because other content I'm placing in the <p> blocks comes in as one very long line) so I can more easily edit the xml, the content in the <codeblock> or <lines> section is reformatted, losing all the carefully placed indents in the code.That is, the code that would appear in the PDF or HTML is reformatted so that it is all flush left with an indent of about 1 inch. I want it to remain indented hierarchically. So for example, a code sample as it appears in the Author view <script> Some script here A subroutine here More stuff </script> etc. It becomes this <script> Some script here A subroutine here More stuff </script> which, technically, would work as code, but it hard to read in the documentation. The code in the Editor view looks like this: <codeblock> <script> Some script here A subroutine here More stuff >/script> </codeblock> and so on. Map Manager Doesn't Appear to Reflect Navigation Titles in <navtitle>

If I have topicrefs of the form: <topicref> <topicmeta> <navtitle>Navigation Title</navtitle> </topicmeta> </topicref> I'm not seeing the navigation titles in the map manager. If I add @navtitle attributes to the same topicrefs, I see the navigation title. Should definitely see the navigation title in the first case. Using a catalog with a saxon xquery scenario

I depend on catalogs for resolving DTDs in my XML files. I've specified the catalog I want to use in the preferences for XML Catalog. It works for XSLT, just not for XQuery. The specific error I get is this: SystemID: /xquery/find_topicrefs_w_href_w_child_topicref.xquery Engine name: Saxon-PE XQuery 9.2.0.3 Severity: error Description: /sanderson_dev/dev/doc/164/patch/core/en/xmlsource/map.dtd (No such file or directory) Any ideas?
