When overriding contentDeleted(DocumentContentChangedEvent arg0) in a custom implementation of the AuthorListener class, how is it possible to determine exactly what content was deleted? It appears that this event fires after the content is deleted without giving the developer a chance to determine what is now missing. Any suggestions? I'm trying to use Oxygen to edit the set of XML-based config files that come with the Shibboleth package. The package is typically installed on linux, as a plugin into a web server such as apache. The package comes with a set of .xsd files, and an accompanying set of xml catalog files. Here's what a typical supplied catalog file looks like: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <catalog xmlns="urn:oasis:names:tc:entity:xmlns:xml:catalog"> <system systemId="urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.0:assertion" uri="/opt/local/shibboleth-sp/share/xml/opensaml/cs-sstc-schema-assertion-1.1.xsd"/> <system systemId="urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.0:protocol" uri="/opt/local/shibboleth-sp/share/xml/opensaml/cs-sstc-schema-protocol-1.1.xsd"/> </catalog> I've tried the following steps: -- downloaded all of the xsd and catalog files to my desktop Mac -- edited the catalog files, changing the file system path in all the uri attributes - launched Oxygen, went to Preferences/XML Catalog, and added the five catalog files that come with the package. - quit Oxygen, re-launched (to have the new Preferences take effect) -- open a Shibboleth xml file, and attempt to validate it I'm presented with an error -- "There is no schema or DTD associated with the document. You can create an association either with the Associate Schema action or from the Options men Preferences/Editor/Default Schema Association." does anyone have a suggestion on a way to get validation to work, using catalog files? Rather than adding everything to the Default Schema Association?

New file templates for XSLT stylesheets

Hi, I'd like to create a new template for XSLT stylesheets (with additional namespace bindings, license notes, etc.) As far as I've seen, file templates are configured via the Document Type Associations. So I'd like to be sure that creating such an association for XSLT stylesheets won't break anything in my install before taking that path... Is it the way to follow? Thanks for pointing out the new instructions. I have created the metrics files and the fopConfiguration file. My metrics file starts off: <font-metrics metrics-version="2" type="TYPE0"> <font-name>TimesNewRomanPSMT</font-name> <full-name>Times New Roman</full-name> <family-name>Times New Roman</family-name> However, when I attempt to actually build my pdf file, I get the following two warnings and my font is not used: C:>fop -d -xml index.xml -xsl index.xsl -pdf index.pdf Mar 3, 2009 7:00:14 AM org.apache.fop.fonts.FontCache loadFrom WARNING: I/O exception while reading font cache (org.apache.fop.fonts.FontCache; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = 605232520271754717, local class serialVersionUID = 605232520271754718). Discarding font cache file. Mar 3, 2009 7:00:16 AM org.apache.fop.fonts.FontInfo notifyFontReplacement WARNING: Font 'Times New Roman,normal,400' not found. Substituting with 'any,normal,400'. Hi, I posted a few thoughts about integrating Ken Holman's XSLStyle <http://www.cranesoftwrights.com/resources/xslstyle/> in oXygen. Hope you'll find them interesting: http://fgeorges.blogspot.com/2009/02/xslstyle-and-oxygen.html BTW, I think it would be useful to have, in the various "Generate Documentation" actions, to have the ability to select the currently edited file instead of having to select it explicitly on the file system. I think those could be interesting to have, also with the ability to open several projects at a time (but I guess this one require maybe too much changes for a minor release.) Format and Indent Problem

Hi, As I have read on previous posts, oXygen classifies mixed content based on the current contents of an element, is this correct? If so, is it possible for oXygen to classify elements based on the declarations made in the DTD or Schema it is associated to? I know that the work around for this is to specify the pattern of elements that you want to preserve the whitespace in the preferences or to manually insert an xml:space="preserve" attributes for these elements, but if an XML is associated with a DTD or a Schema then you can tell whether whitespace in that element is ignorable or not. Currently what I've been doing is for every project I have to specify in the pattern listing all the mixed content elements that are defined in the DTD/Schema so that when I do a pretty print the whitespace is preserved and this method is very troublesome. Is there anymore workaround for this other than the ones I mentioned above? Or can this be considered as an added feature for a future version of the product? Thanks, Jeff

Context menus

Is there a way for developers to add to the right click context menu in Author Mode? I would like to be able to right click a node or some text and have a context menu give me choices based on what I have right clicked. Of course, I would also need to be able to handle the event generated when a user makes their selection from the context menu.
