marklogic debugging with oxygen

Hi, I'm trying to use Oxygen (v15) as a step-by-step debugger for MarkLogic. I've seen the video here: http://www.oxygenxml.com/demo/XQueryDebuggerforMarkLogic.html (thanks, George!) I have an XDBC server set up and use this to initiate the debugging process (right click on the server in the Data Source Explorer). However, when attempting to walk through a script, I see in the "Debugger errors" console the following error message: Severity: warning Description: Could not update breakpoints. They will not be in effect: The XDBC server used to send queries may not have its modules configured correctly. XDBC server name: setup, Modules database: file system, Modules root: c:/applications/kappav3/backend/src/. DBG-MODULEDNE: ns1:line(10246952917140151683, "/app/actions/fulltext/fulltext.xqm", xs:unsignedInt("42")) -- Module not found: /app/actions/fulltext/fulltext.xqm I'm wondering why this doesn't work. We keep the modules in the file system (at least during development), could that be a problem? The module in question is correctly located in the directory made up from the Modules root and the path ... Do you have any idea how to find out what the problem could be? cheers, Jakob.

Feature Request: Form Editing for <data> Elements in Default DITA CSS

It would be really handy to have either the default DITA style sheet or another built-in sheet be configured for form editing of <data> elements and specializations. I would expect that the @name and @value attributes would be fields. The content of <data> could be a field but because <data> may contain <data>, it's probably best to leave the content alone. Autocomplete for file paths in text mode--new?

With V15 I notice that if I start typing a URL or file path, e.g., in an @href attribute or something, that Oxygen shows me the available choices when I type a "/". I think that must be new, yes? In any case, it's very cool and will save me much time in the aggregate. A few config questions

I'm working though some things and I ran into questions I couldn't answer with the doc. I hope someone can help me out with them. 1. In the Open/Find resource, there's an option to "Index the content of remote resources" - how are those remote resourced defined? 2. "Search References" - when I'm in Author mode of a DITA doc, and I right-click on an element for Search References, it does search, but I don't know what constraints there are on the search. Does it search every XML file in the current project? Can I add search specific constraints? 3. Is there a way to enable quotes/apostrophes in the majority of the file, but use straight quotes and straight single quote in particular elements/xpaths? For example, I don't want an apostrophe in a codeblock, I want straight quotes. 4. Can the DITA Map Manager do anything with reltables? Thanks for any tips! -- Steve

oxygen does not shutdown when Windows 7 shuts down

Hi On Windows 7, oXygen 13.2 (both Author and Editor), does not exit when Windows attempts to shut down or log out. I can hit cancel and then I can usually shut them down manually. However, sometimes Author is then in a state of having the main text window all gray, and not responding to input. On a separate note, but possibly related, yesterday I was working on a new "DITA Scenario", and had to start over. I updated some other software and had to reboot. I am pretty sure Author got into that gray text window state at the shutdown. Then, later in the morning I had trouble with builds. The value of ${cfd} passed to the builds was incorrect, Author was instead passing the Editor installation folder in "C:\Program Files". After a few minutes of this, I decided to restart Author. When it restarted, it had renamed the Project File to a name with "temp" in it, and was running without it. I used SVN update to get a working version of the Project File and recreated my new "DITA Scenario". Notes: Installed: Oxygen Editor 13.2, build 2012052412 I generally run both Editor and Author simultaneously (both from the Editor installation), editing XSLT and Ant code in Editor and testing it in Author. Also installed: oXygen 11.2 I use it with other another XML build that needs its own oXygen Framework. I think that's because its "topic" XML type conflicts with the one in DITA. Using: Windows 7, Version 6.1.7601 SP 1 Build 7601 Standalone version, not integrated with Eclipse. My normal logout practice has been to log out only on Fridays, and to close oXygen Author and Editor when I leave work at the end of the day, in case an update restarts Windows. Somewhat relevant tools - ones that hook into Windows Explorer right-click menu with more than "Open with me!": - Q-Dir to replace Windows Explorer. Pretty much eliminates restarting Windows Explorer when it crashes. - TortoiseSVN - TortoiseGIT Why don't software companies make the "version" field selectable and copy-able, in the About box or equivalent? That would be a minor feature request, trivial to do, but useful every time someone reports a bug. Microsoft should do it, not just oXygenXML.
