Applet Configuration and Extension: MathML, Office Cut and Paste

We have our Oxygen applet configured with the out-of-the-box DITA framework and it's working well. However, I would like to enable both MathML equation editing, either using the simple built-in editor or, ideally, the DesignScience graphical editor. I'd also like to be able to cut and paste from Word and Excel the way I can in the standalone editor. What's involved in doing this? Relax NG compact + Schematron

Dear all, I was wondering what was preventing RNC+SCH to work since Relax NG (RNG) + Schematron is working in OxygenXML ? It is a bit annoying to need to work in the XML forms only because of that Xmlizer

What is "When this XPath expression is true" action parameter relative to?

What is the "When this XPath expression is true" parameter of an action definition evaluated relative to? The docs just say "an XPath expression that applies to elements and attributes;" but they don't say what the current element is at the time the xpath is evaluated. My reason for asking is this: I want to create a button to add an element to a document. But since this element is only allowed once inside its parent element, I would like the button to either disappear or be disabled if the parent element already contains the element that the button inserts. Ideally, I would like to do this using the stylesheet to remove the button when the child element already exists, but CSS does not provide a selector for an element that contains (or does not contain) another element, so there does not seem to be a way to do that. (Enhancement request for an Oxygen CSS extension for this purpose) So since that does not work, my next approach is to invalidate the button if the child element already exists. To do this, I think I would need the "When this XPath expression is true" parameter to be evaluated relative to the path specified in the "insertLocation" parameter, but that does not seem to be how it works. So, what is the current element when "When this XPath expression is true" parameter is evaluated. And, more generally, can anyone think of a way to do what I am trying to do here? Thanks, Mark

XProc p:template step not supported

oh where oh where has my oXygen gone?

Oh where, oh where has my oXygen gone? Oh where, oh where can it be? I put fourteen point two on Ubuntu, And now it's hidden from me. I had oXygen 14.1 installed on both my Ubuntu 12.04 machines (work & home). On both machines, the way I launch oXygen is to tap the SUPER key to bring up the dash, and then type "oxy". The applications that show up are Oxygen XML Editor, Oxygen XML Author, and Oxygen XML Developer.[1] This morning I downloaded the new oxygen-64bit.sh and ran it under `sudo` on the work machine. I installed in the default location, deleting the previous version. I then tapped the SUPER key to bring up the dash, typed "oxy" ... and no applications showed up. I notice that there 9 .desktop files in my 14.1 installation at home, and none in my 14.2 installation at work. I looked at one of the .desktop files, and I am pretty sure this is the problem. 1) Did I do something wrong during installation so that the .desktop files were not installed? 2) Anyone else suffer this? 3) Noting that these 9 files, and the change of several file names from 14.1 to 14.2, are the only differences in the list of files in the main /opt/Oxygen XML Editor 14/ directories, can I just copy the 14.1 .desktop file to the 14.2 installation, changing all occurrences of "14.1" to "14.2" as I go? 4) While I'm at it, on my home machine the oXygen icon does not appear in the application-switcher bar that pops up when I press ALT-tab. (Instead I get a generic grey box with a question mark.) It does show up in the launcher. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for any answers, and as always thanks for a great program. Notes ----- [1] I never use the latter two, and would be happy to get rid of them.

Maintaining slightly variant standard frameworks

I'm working on integrating the Oxygen applet with RSuite specifically for DITA use. Thus I want to use the out-of-the-box DITA framework but I need to modify it slightly to add RSuite-specific handlers for actions that select things (xrefs, conrefs, images, etc.) What is the best way to manage this sort of small change to an Oxygen-supplied framework so as to avoid maintaining (and keeping up to date) a fully copy of the framework? Improve Web Service support in <oXygen/>

Hello, We want to improve the Web Services support in future versions of <oXygen/> . For the the next version we plan to improve the WSDL editing support: * we want to add a specialized Outliner for WSDL files. This Outline will present specific WSDL components such as: types, messages, services, port types, bindings, services; * for the content completion assistant we want to also present component references. For example if you invoke content completion on wsdl:input/@message('message' attribute of the 'input' element) all defined messages will be proposed; * improve WSDL documentation tool. Other features that we intend to implement in future versions are: * visual editor for WSDL; * support for WSDL 2.0; * SOAP debugger; * Web Service testing for SOAP/WSDL, REST; * support for Representational State Transfer (REST); * support for XML-RPC; Are you interested in one or more of these features? If you are, what is the order of the features you are most interested in? Do you have other feature requests for the Web Services support in <oXygen/>? In addition, we are trying to identify use cases for Web Services support. If you have a specific use case, please let us know.
