Hi, I'm trying to use Oxygen to make docbook transform to epub. I am still trying to understand what is going on. I created a simple dummy.xml with a sample customization layer. rj.xsl The customization layer only has three lines: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:d="http://docbook.org/ns/docbook" xmlns:date="http://exslt.org/dates-and-times" xmlns:saxon="http://icl.com/saxon" exclude-result-prefixes="d date saxon" version="1.0"> <xsl:param name="chapter.autolabel" select="0"/> <xsl:param name="html.stylesheet">testing.css</xsl:param> To make it work in Oxygen, I cloned and edited the epub scenario, and add a parameter using the parameters tab of the Edit Ant Scenario dialog. name = rjxsl value = ${pd}/oxygen-test.xsl But when I run it, it produces an epub file and the html code doesn't seem to reflect the css reference or chapter.autolabel parameter. This is strange because the build.xml file seems to reference the rj.xsl file path correctly. Two other things. I would expect that the testing.css (which is located in the project directory) to be copied to the appropriate output directory. But I do not see it copied there (although the image(s) are copied successfully there). Also, the css is not listed in the content.opf file. Please note that the db2epub.py seems to process the same project correctly. Also, when I inspect the html files in the out directory, I see this message in the head: <meta name="generator" content="DocBook XSL-NS Stylesheets V1.76.1"/> My understanding is that there are incompatibilities between the DocBook XSL-NS stylesheets and the epub transformation. I've been warned by Keith Fahlgren not to use the XSL-NS stylesheets. This fact was alluded to in a recent thread about the epub3 beta stylesheets, but my understanding is that this applies both to the epub3 beta and the current epub. Importing entire HTML projects

Good Afternoon, I'm currently working on a project which requires us to develop, update, author and publish XML based data for production use. I'm wondering whether oXygenXML supports the import of entire directory structures such as the following. As time is at a premium I'm trying to focus on the core business process here which is updating an older html project and validating it against some new schemas we have developed rather than wasting resources and time manually importing literally hundreds of individual files. Hi Jens, The errors are caused by an older version of the xlink.xsd schema which Oxygen loads from [Oxygen-install-folder]/frameworks/xlink and which does not define the xlink:simpleLink group. We will replace it with the latest version of xlink.xsd. When an XML Schema imports the XLink schema Oxygen maps the namespace "http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" to the local version of xlink.xsd from the [Oxygen-install-folder]/frameworks/xlink folder. The mapping is done by the default XML catalog which is enabled in Preferences -> XML -> XML Catalog. A Trivial Docbook to Epub Oxygen/Ant Transform doesn't produce valid epub files!

Hi, I tried in XML Author to transform a small and simple docbook file using the included build.xml file. I used an example file already included with Oxygen. Please note that I later ran the db2epub.py script via command line with no customization layer using docbook-xsl-1.76.1 and produced an epub file validated by epubcheck. The index.html file was correctly referenced. A few other notes. First, db2epub.py did produce a kind of html output error with the address containing a single invalid p tag. I don't know what's going on with that, but that could be a docbook xsl bug. Second, I seem to recall that when my customization layer referenced the namespaced version of the epub docbook xsl that occasionally it produced extra references in content.opf. Configuration of profiling attributes and their values

Hi, would it be possible to move configuration of profiling attributes and their values into document type? I often create customized version of DocBook for my customer and part of this customization are also preconfigured values for profiling in schema. Schema and other necessary files are distributed as an oXygen framework so it makes sense to configure profiling attributes here then as a global/project options. DITA: @audience with two diffent values in one map

hi all, I made a DITA-map that refers twice to one and the same task. First with @audience = novice, secondly with @audience = expert. The topic has several elements (substeps) that are only applicable for "novice". map | |--topic topicref="topic.dita" audience="novice" | |--topic topicref="topic.dita" audience="expert" I want the topic to appear twice in the publication: the first occurence for novice, the second for expert. When I use DITA-OT with the settings above, I get the same topic twice, both instances showing no conditions at all, so both showing all elements. What am I doing wrong? Can DITA+OT do what I want? regards, Theun Fleer
