Recusrive COUNT of specific elements in XSL 2.0

Hi, One requirement is for me to count instances of images within a corpus of documents, therefore I need to get the # of images per document. I'm trying to do <TotalImages value="I wish to copy the result of the below xsl:value-of here"> <xsl:value-of select="count(SOMETHING[.])"/> </TotalImages> I know that XSLT 2.0 counts in sequences, therefore I'm hoping that at least my [.] is correct. As the image elements are scattered throughout the DOM structure so using XPath predicates is not how I wish to do this. Failure to identify missing xsl:choose element

Hi, I have the following xslt <Secondary> <Body DocumentURI="" IdURI="" NumberOfProvisions="" RestrictStartDate=""> <xsl:for-each select="html:html/html:body/html:div/html:div[@class='page css-gen1']"> <SectionPage> <xsl:value-of select="@id"/> </SectionPage> <Sectionheader> <xsl:value-of select="html:div[1]/html:div/html:span/html:span"/> </Sectionheader> <xsl:when test="html:div[2]/html:div/html:span[@class='css-gen3'] and html:div[2]/html:div[2]/html:span[@class='css-gen5']"> <xsl:call-template name="createStandardHead"/> </xsl:when> </xsl:for-each> Which seems to be fine when running it through the debugger, however when I attempt to run a transformation scenario with the xslt I get the following error: System ID: /media/PENDRIVE/xmlcalabash/xslt/transform_sections.xsl Scenario: STS_Transform XML file: /media/PENDRIVE/xmlcalabash/input/0.1.xhtml XSL file: /media/PENDRIVE/xmlcalabash/xslt/transform_sections.xsl Engine name: Saxon6.5.5 Severity: error Description: xsl:when must be immediately within xsl:choose Start location: 129:0 Is it known that the debugger fails to pick this up? John: The parser is giving you the correct error. An <xsl:when> must be inside an <xsl:choose>. If you only have one choice then you will want to use <xsl:if>. You can use <xsl:choose> with the following structure: <xsl:choose> <xsl:when test="...">...</xsl:when> <xsl:otherwise/> </xsl:choose> Good luck! DocumentTypeCustomRuleMatcher that depends on document child element

Hi, I'd like to switch document type depending on an xpath. I thought DocumentTypeCustomRuleMatcher would do it, but it seems it doesn't because it only has 5 parameters (which i don't care about) in matches method. My documents look like this : <doc> <status/> <content>  </content> </doc> I want to apply different css, schema, toolbar depending on the 'proced' or 'desc' element, is it possible? I can't change my document structure because it's normalized. Thanks for all. Benoît.

Any tricks for xsl-if block to choose construct?

Any tricks using oxygen to convert an existing xsl:if block to an xsl:choose block? Naturally, the xsl:if block would become an xsl:when block surround by xsl:choose element. Display my own Swing component

Hi, I developed a plugin for the standalone XML Editor (that is, a workspace access plugin extension), and I'd like to display a dialog box. I know the methods Workspace.show*(), but I'd really like to display my own box, in order to ask the user to fill in fields and provide some infos. extension behaving strangely

Hi, I encounter some strange behaviour in an extension I wrote. I made a search button respond to the enter key. In Eclipse it responds immediately, but in oXygen a user has to use the enter key twice to make the extension respond. I did this to make it work: btnSearch.registerKeyboardAction(btnSearch.getActionForKeyStroke(KeyStroke.getKeyStroke(KeyEvent.VK_SPACE, 0, false)), KeyStroke.getKeyStroke(KeyEvent.VK_ENTER, 0, false), JComponent.WHEN_IN_FOCUSED_WINDOW); btnSearch.registerKeyboardAction(btnSearch.getActionForKeyStroke(KeyStroke.getKeyStroke(KeyEvent.VK_SPACE, 0, true)), KeyStroke.getKeyStroke(KeyEvent.VK_ENTER, 0, true), JComponent.WHEN_IN_FOCUSED_WINDOW); btnSearch.addActionListener(this); What should I do to make it respond immediately in oXygen? Turn off indent ("pretty print") in oXygen XML Editor 13.2?

Hi group When I create a new DITA topic in oXygen XML Editor 13.2, I see that indent (aka "pretty print") is used when I look at the content in plain text view. Is there a way to turn off indent in the oXygen preferences? I have deselected the following options in Preferences > Editor > Format, but this does not seem to work (the text is still indented in plain text view): * Detect indent on open * Indent on enter * Format and indent the document on open Thanks -- Yves Barbion www.scripto.nu

How to set language to self defined element?

Hi, I try to add an xml:lang attribute to an element in my schema. There is some (very short) explanation how this should be done in xml.xsd, but that doesn't work out for me. I have some elements that extend the ph-element. Can you please explain to me how to set the xml:lang attribute so spell check can be done on these elements? XInclude and WebDAV

Hi, On the eXist mailing list, an issue with XInlude and the oXygen Data Source Explorer has been discussed which has not found a solution. It is described in a ticket - the ticket has been closed since the problem was not regarded as relating to eXist. <http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3422989&group_id=17691&atid…> The problem is that when a document containing an XInclude is opened through the Data Source Explorer from an eXist database, the XInclude is expanded in oXygen and becomes a static part of the including document. The whole idea behind XIncludes is therefore lost. Best, Jens
